HEALTH CERTIFICATIONS
We will update certifications as they become available. Dogs must be two years of age before they can be OFA certified and proven not to have hip or elbow dysplasia. If they are not yet old enough to certify, we will do a prelim ex-ray to insure they have good hips and elbows before we breed. This pertains to our Bernese Mountain Dogs. We do not feel it is necessary to OFA our Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. Hip and elbow dysplasia primarily affect dogs forty pounds and larger.. Our Cavaliers are heart and eye certified yearly. Dogs must be a year of age before they can be certified by a cardiologist and ophthalmologist.
